Summer Ball 2026

Royal Holloway Students’ Union’s biggest event of the year: a festival-style day and night on campus. The brief was to elevate an established brand so it felt fresh and exciting to students again.

With thousands of guests moving across campus from day into night, clarity mattered as much as colour. The system had to be loud enough to sell tickets and clear enough to guide people on the night, from email, social and guerrilla signage to wayfinding, T-shirts, wristbands and print, all delivered in two months.

Act announcements, the headliner reveal and the full line-up were built as one Instagram grid, with the disco ball running across the tiles. The same illustrated map worked online and at night: 14 numbered stops across campus, with a QR to keep it in your pocket.

Made to build hype before the night and to be kept long after it. A piece of memorabilia, limited to 100 and inspired by underground rave merch. Sold out before and after the event.
